FIELD: agriculture; weather control. SUBSTANCE: head has a casing with an axially positioned perforated tube inside the casing. The tube is filled with a pyrotechnic slow-down composition, and it is provided with an igniter located at the rear end-face of the missile head part. Shells with active smoke charges are hollow rings slipped over the perforated tube. The shells are fastened to the casing and tube, and between end-faces of two neighboring shells on the external surfaces of the casing and perforated tube there are circular grooves. In clearances between the end-faces of the shells there are gunpowder charges that can come in contact with the pyrotechnic composition through the perforation holes. The shell walls also have holes open to the clearances with the gunpowder charges. The flame front of the pyrotechnic composition runs from the tube end to the head cowl and sequentially kindles the gunpowder charges and active smoke charges as it passes through the perforation holes. Gunpowder gases exert pressure on the shell end-face to break the casing and tube along the circular groove sections. The rear shell with parts of the casing and tube is thrown from the missile head part in a direction opposite to the flight direction, and it is free to fall and evolve active smoke. EFFECT: simpler design; higher reliability. 2 cl, 4 dwg
