FIELD: cross-country sports shoes, spiked shoes, ski and skate boots. SUBSTANCE: sports shoe is comprised of an upper, insole and platform. The upper has a means for fixing the shoe on the foot while the platform favors a more efficient conversion of the foot push-off force into a higher running speed at a more economical "work" of the foot. The upper part of the wedge-shaped platform is set at an angle of 7-25 deg. to the lower one. The toe portion of the platform working surface is provided with transverse slot-shaped dividers. The heel part of the platform has a space filled with a material with a low specific weight, e.g. foam plastic or crumbled cork, or a longitudinal bridge in the plane of symmetry of the heel portion. Installed inside the toe portion of the upper is a damper, e.g. of porolon. Secured on the upper part of the platform in the region of the foot instep is a stop for limiting the forward displacement of the foot, the shape of said stop corresponding to the profile of the foot arch. The platform may be made either as the shoe sole, or as a superposed part with members for fastening it to the shoe. EFFECT: improved design. 3 cl, 9 dwg
