METHOD OF PREPARING ACTIVATED LIQUID MEDIUM Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: activated liquid media. SUBSTANCE: 0.5% alkali solution prepared on the distilled water is heated in the chamber in which one electrode is disposed over other one up to 80-85 C at simultaneuous applying constant-voltage on electrodes 1400-1500 V at current force 4-5 A up to appearance of glow coronary electric discharge on the upper electrode followed by current decrease. Then alkali solution is passed through the chamber at the rate 180-190 ml/min at the following current decrease. At current force 0.5 A voltage on electrodes is decreased up to 650-700 V, and alkali solution is activated. Prepared activated media were used in medicine and food industry.
