FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, namely to a device for disinfection of pathogenic microorganisms and a method for disinfection of objects infected with pathogenic microorganisms with a water-containing aerosol. The device has a pump for supplying initial water, a filtration unit containing membranes with pores from 0.1 to 0.01 microns, pipelines for supplying water and its output from the system. The device contains a unit for activating water by cold plasma installed in series, connected by a pipeline with the outlet of the filtration unit and an aerosol unit. The cold plasma water activation unit contains a distribution system for supplying clarified water, a discharge cell, a cathode, an anode, a high-frequency pulse generator and a device for supplying oxygen. The device includes an activated water supply pump. The aerosolization unit contains an ultrasonic evaporation system with an oscillation frequency of 40-100 kHz and nozzles. Method of disinfection of objects infected with pathogenic microorganisms, water-containing aerosol, including water activation and spraying. Water is pre-purified by filtration through a membrane with a pore size of 0.1-0.01 mcm, at a pressure of 1-10 bar. Activation is carried out by treating the filtered water with cold plasma, and aerosolization is carried out with a device providing a particle size at the outlet of 5-35 mcm.

EFFECT: obtaining activated water purified from microorganisms, capable of disinfecting pathogenic microorganisms.
