FIELD: liquid medium disinfection techniques. SUBSTANCE: liquid medium is heated by constant electric current through electrodes, on which voltage is imposed to achieve current intensity 4.0-5.0 A until glowing corona discharge appeared on the upper electrode, after which electrode voltage is lowered and liquid medium is passed through electrolyzer at velocity 180-190 ml/min. More specifically, liquid medium is sodium chloride solution, which is heated to 75-79 C. At this temperature, electrode voltage is set within a range of 2000-2500 V resulting in appearance of glowing corona discharge on the upper electrode. Current intensity is then lowered to 0.3 A and, simultaneously, electrode voltage is lowered to 550-600 V, whereupon liquid medium activation process is continued. When electrode voltage and current intensity are lowered below specified values, activation process is ended. EFFECT: improved economical efficiency and safety of method.
