FIELD: water treatment. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to treatment of water to produce aqueous preparation for disinfecting from microorganisms (bacteria, viruses, fungi). Electrical conductance of water is raised by adding 0.01 to 5% of soluble admixtures selected from organics forming ions on dissolution consisting of following series of atoms: C, N, O, and H. Water with elevated conductance is passed through anode chamber of electrolyzer with intake value m at passing electric current with intensity I, relationship I/m being 500-50000 Cl/kg. Contact with microorganisms is accomplished in aqueous medium containing 0.1 to 100 wt % of activated aqueous preparation outside of diaphragm electrolyzer during disinfecting period, whereas activated aqueous preparation remaining after disinfecting process is held in air and/or on light to reduce its activity.
