FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: sealing jaws of the sealing gasket of C-shaped cross-section are made of an elastomer, face each other, and bear on ring thickenings made on the cross-piece of the gasket. The casing with radial face walls encloses the gasket and is pressed with tension screws through a lock. The sheet spacer is interposed between the gasket and casing and overlaps the longitudinal ring slot of the casing. The sealing jaws are made for permitting compression in the periphery direction and pressing to the pipe walls when the casing is tensioned under the action of the ring thickenings. The sliding rings are arranged for permitting freely extension of the pipes between the face walls of the casing and the gasket and can overlap the ring slot between the face walls of the casing and pipe walls.
