ACTIVE DEFENCE DEVICE OF ELECTRIC-SHOCK ACTION Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

Abstract RU 2045733 C1

FIELD: neutralization of attacker's aggressive actions. SUBSTANCE: device uses a casing having active part 1, protective part 2, handle 3. Needle-point electrodes 4 over its surface and part 1 of the casing do not project over its surface and are distributed by groups with preset spacings so as to increase the surface of active action. The device uses an electronic circuit with a control circuit, power supply elements, indicators 7 and 8, control member positioned in the handle and having two keys 10 spring-loaded with different rigidity, and circuit breaker 11 with, an extractable insert connected with carrying loop 12. The control member provides for control of operating voltage across electrodes 4, decreases the time of device preparation to action, prevents spontaneous and unauthorized actuation. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 3 cl, 4 dwg
