FIELD: defensive weapon. SUBSTANCE: the device has a body, whose working end carries two discharge pin electrodes, it accommodates a power source and a generating unit of impulse high voltage. The device is provided with current leads according to the number of discharge pin electrodes, high-voltage connector and a detachable functional cartridge with electric contacts. One of the ends of the high-voltage connector is installed on the end of the body working part. The detachable functional cartridge is secured on the other end of the high-voltage connector. The distance between the ends of the electric contacts and current leads does not exceed the value of the spark gap between them.
