FIELD: testing equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for testing diffusers and can be used to test diffusers for hydraulic losses. First control diffuser (2), first receiver (3), confuser (4), second control diffuser (5), identical to first control diffuser (2), and second receiver (6) are sequentially placed on the stand. Perform control blowing with the working fluid, recording the readings of differential pressure gauge (8) between receivers (3, 6). Then replace second control diffuser (5) on the diffuser being tested. Moreover, the tested diffuser has the same areas and ratios of areas at the outlet and inlet as control diffuser (5). Purging is carried out using the working medium while recording the readings of differential pressure gauge (8). Based on the difference in pressure determined during control purging and during direct testing, the hydraulic losses of the tested diffuser are estimated.
EFFECT: ensuring high accuracy of assessment of diffusers of various designs for hydraulic losses.
