FIELD: gas cleaning in metallurgical, chemical and other industry branches. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has a body, branch pipes for feeding and draining gases, sections of cooled settling electrodes and corona discharge electrodes, whose section number is equal at least to one. The corona discharge electrodes have corona discharge members in the form of ribs, connected in pairs. First corona discharge member has on its ribs dents, whose number is equal to 1000-10000 for one square meter of its surface. Second corona discharge member being flat; ratio of length values of the first and the second corona discharge members is equal to 0.2-5.0. The sections of the corona discharge electrodes are spaced one from another by a distance, being no less, than an inner diameter of the settling electrode.
