FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: cobal salts were produced by treatment of technical cobalt (II, III) oxide or solid waste with activated carbon at 400-600 C followed by dissolving product in corresponding mineral acid at the molar ratio Co (II) Co(II):H+=1:(1,4-1,8), 1:(1.4-1.8), addition of cobalt hydroxide to the prepared solution as (1.0-1.2) mole Co(OH)3 per 1 mole Fe in solution and suspension filtering. Method is used for cobalt (II) salt production used for producing dyes, enamels, catalysts, accumulators. EFFECT: broadened raw base, decreased cost of product. 2 cl, 2 tbl
