FIELD: illumination devices. SUBSTANCE: device has incandescent bulb, which is connected to alternating current supply line through radio noise filter and triac, which is controlled through bridge rectifier by power in capacitor, which is connected to input of bridge rectifier and cathode of triac. In addition device has clipping resistor, forcing capacitor, which is inserted in parallel to clipping resistor, and switch, combined with variable resistor. This results in possibility to increase service life of incandescent bulbs due to elimination of current surges when they are turned and to change light flow smoothly without hysteresis.
