FIELD: metallurgy; radioelectronics. SUBSTANCE: method involves separate processes of melting and evaporation of zinc, oxidation of zinc vapor, and catching of the product. The rate of energy consumption in the process of melting is 1,1·102-1,5·102kwt/m3 kW/cu.m, the distribution of heat flow over the heater surface in the process of evaporation is 16- 18 kW/cu.m, the specific rate of evaporation from the melt table is 50-70 kg/sq.m/h, and vapors are oxidized with gas mixture containing oxygen (5-19% mass). The gas mixture temperature is 100-180 C. It is possible to use post-cleaning suspension of gas and dust as gas mixture in this process. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 1 dwg
