FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ferrous metallurgy, power engineering, and cement production and can be used for producing steel, electricity, and Portland cement within the framework of a single power engineering complex. Steel undergoes liquid-phase reduction of cast iron, oxidative refining, and deoxidative alloying in a melting drum chamber. The forming slag melts are saturated with lime in the saturation drum chamber, and cooling of cement clinker and purification of the cement from metal inclusions are performed outside of the process chambers. Liquid phase reduction of cast iron is herein performed in the course of the recovery stage of melting, and the number of recovery melting operations within the stage is determined based on the volume of cast iron collected into the chamber. Electricity is produced at a thermal power plant included in the complex. The dust and gas mixture released from the melting chamber is after-burned in the burner of the boiler of the thermal power plant, using the corresponding burner mode of the boiler for each melting period in the melting drum chamber. The slag melt and carry-over ash formed at the thermal power plant are used in the recovery stages of melting. The dust and gas phase released from the saturation drum chamber and the clinker refrigerator is used as a heat carrier when firing lime.
EFFECT: possibility of producing a wide range of products within a single production complex.
