FIELD: nanotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: processing material is supplied in the form of the coarse powder, having a particle size of not less than 1 mm. For its evaporation the electromagnetic radiation microwave power flow is used with a frequency in the range 20-1200 GHz, focused upto the wavelength size of the radiation used. The gas-dispersed flow with formed as a result of processed material vapour condensation by the nanosized particles is cooled in the heat exchanger, and filtered to separate the particles. The device for producing of elements nanosized powders and its inorganic compounds, containing the source of highly concentrated power flow, the evaporation - condensing unit, heat exchanger for cooling of the gas-dispersed flow, and filter for separation of the nanosized powder. The device includes the gyrotron as a power source and quasi-optical device of microwave radiation focusing.

EFFECT: invention improves the production process of nanoscale powders efficiency, excluding the radiation danger.
