FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: covers abut against the face side of the bearing housing. The magnetic liquid seal is made up as a magnet with pole attachments and magnetic liquid filling the space to be sealed. The magnets are received in bores made in covers. The magnetic liquid seal is positioned between the collars with support of attachments on working edges of the collars for permitting radial movement when the shaft moves radially. Passageways are made in the cover to connect the space between the collars and attachments with the atmosphere and bearing space. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 2 cl, 1 dwg
