FIELD: sealing processes and devices.
SUBSTANCE: magnetic -liquid sealing of shaft includes annular magnetic system in which mutually turned faces of pole attachments and shaft form gap filled with magnetic liquid. On one surface restricting said gap annular grooves, mainly rectangular cross section grooves are formed. On opposite surface non-magnetic discs partially entering said grooves are fluid-tightly mounted.
EFFECT: improved design of magnetic-liquid sealing providing its enhanced holding capability.
