FIELD: desuperheaters using boiler water. SUBSTANCE: surface desuperheater has case 1 filled with boiler water and accommodating steam tubes 2, inlet and outlet tubes 3 and 4 radially arranged there. Case 1 has expansion pipe unions 5 housing inlet and outlet sections of steam tubes 2 combined by dispensing and accumulating headers 6 and 7. Recirculating tube 8 is installed in center of case 1 in a spaced relation relative to top and bottom plates; perforated conical reflectors 9 with downward facing funnels placed along axis of tube 8 are installed in top part of case.
