FIELD: wood-pulp and paper industry; power melting units in non-ferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: boiler includes drum-separator 1, radiation convective shaft 2 consisting of furnace 3 and cooling chamber 4 guarded by shields 5 and 6. Hearth of furnace 3 is made from steam bypass tubes 7 laid between chambers 8 and 9. Part of shield within furnace is made in form of double pipe 10; inner water cooled tubes 11 form part of gastight wall; they have stepped expansion from furnace 3 to cooling chamber 4. Outer steam-cooled tubes 12 which form furnace shields are laid from chambers 8 and 9 to intermediate chambers 13. Boiler is provided with steam superheater 14 and bypass with adjustable valve 15. EFFECT: reduced usage of metal due to avoidance of special purpose steam collars. 4 cl, 1 dwg
