FIELD: petroleum industry. SUBSTANCE: filling and discharging of tank is exercised alternatively through all used pipelines. Measurements of level and density of liquid is made by piezometric electrical converter and emission of ultrasonic pulses is exercised perpendicularly to level of liquid from lower point of tank bottom. Piezometric electrical converter is mounted vertically in lower point of tank bottom and is additionally provided with unit of measuring and calculation of density. Operation of control unit is controlled be computer clock. Inputs of density measuring and calculating unit are connected with piezometric electric converter through switch with output of control unit and output of ultrasonic level meter. Inputs of control unit are connected with ultrasonic level meter and density measuring and calculating unit. Another output of control unit through another switch is connected to ultrasonic level meter and piezometric electrical converter. EFFECT: increased measurements accuracy of liquids amounts in storage tanks. 2 cl, 4 dwg
