FIELD: testing technology. SUBSTANCE: impact bending load is applied to one end of specimen 3 mounted on central hinged support 7 with the aid of falling weight 2; other end of specimen is acted on by weight 6 secured on rod 5. To ensure bending of specimen in horizontal plane, support 7 may move with the aid of platform 8 turnable in horizontal plane and provided with drive 9; rod and falling weight guide 4 are provided with slots 11 for engagement with ends of specimen in planes of bending. Rod is mounted for axial displacement in additional vertical guide 10; end of this rod is received by seat provided in platform along axis of its rotation. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 1 dwg
