FIELD: conducting tests for strength. SUBSTANCE: specimens 8, 9 and 11 are secured by grips 6,7 and 10, respectively on intermediate, lower and upper cross-members 3, 4 and 2 and are subjected to collision by releasing the intermediate and upper cross-members movably mounted in guides 1. Cross-members 2 and 3 are connected with raising and releasing mechanism 5; cross-member 4 is immovable. Grips 7 and 10 are mounted axially and axis of grip 6 is perpendicular to axes of grips 7 and 10. Cross-members 2 and 3 may be released simultaneously or in turn. At collision of specimens, specimen 8 is loaded by bending and specimens 9 and 11 are loaded by compression. EFFECT: possibility of conducting tests at engagement of specimens loaded by compression and bending. 2 cl, 1 dwg
