FIELD: conducting tests for strength. SUBSTANCE: specimen 8 is accelerated inside pipe by means of flywheel 2 and rod 3 pressed to it by mechanism 4; passive grip 7 for specimen is secured on end of rod 3; during motion loading is effected by means of friction loading device which is made in form of wheel 10 with axle 11 received by longitudinal slot 6 of pipe and friction linings 12, 13 and 14 fitted on inner surface of pipe lengthwise. Specimen active grip 8 is secured on wheel. Part of friction linings is arranged opposite one another and other linings are fitted on one side of pipe only. When wheel gets engageable with linings located opposite one another, specimen is loaded by compressive load only and when wheel gets engageable with linings located only on one side of pipe, specimen is loaded by bending load. Stand makes it possible to conduct tests both at compression and bending changing from compression to bending and vice versa. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 1 dwg
