FIELD: photographic industry. SUBSTANCE: process of manufacture of halogen-silver photographic emulsion by two-jet injection of solutions of silver nitrate and potassium bromide into water-and-gelatin solution involves production of flat microcrystals of silver bromide with physical maturing of emulsion, growth of lateral shells of silver bromine-iodide on to flat microcrystals, precipitation of solid phase, washing of sediment, dispersion of sediment in water-and-gelatin solution, chemical sensitization prior to which start emulsion is injected with potassium triocianate in the amount 0.002- 0.050 g per 1.0 g of silver. EFFECT: enhanced sensitivity of emulsion, facilitated production. 1 tbl
