FIELD: light- sensitive emulsions. SUBSTANCE: in order to increase light- sensitivity of silver chloride emulsion by way of increasing light- sensitivity of surface of microcrystal constructed of a new structure form constituting a group of seven octahedrons, one being disposed in the center and six remaining octahedrons at equal distance from central one and connected with it by needle crystals, before such emulsion with such microcrystals is prepared via emulsification in water-gelatin solution and chemical aging, silver chloride microcrystals are synthesized by two-jet crystallization of sodium chloride and silver nitrate in aqueous solution, whereas emulsification of prepared and isolated microcrystals is carried out in presence of ammonium hydroxide at 70-85 C for 1.5 to 5 h, pCl value ranging from 0.1 to 0.98, after which temperature is lowered to 10-15 C. EFFECT: increased sensitivity of emulsion. 1 tbl
