FIELD: shipbuilding; propellers for low-noise running of ships. SUBSTANCE: electric motor propeller has shaft arranged in fairing mounted in nozzle by means of guide vanes, propeller blades embraced with shourd where elements of electric motor stator are arranged, electric motor stator with cores and windings; guide vanes are provided with vibration isolators to protect them against vibration of flow passage. Magnets (mainly permanent) are located flush with surfaces of electric motor- propeller which hold layer of magnetic fluid on these surfaces; reservoirs with flow passages for making up the layer of magnetic fluid are located in shaft fairing and body of flow passage. EFFECT: reduction of noise and vibration to 5 10 dB and reduction of hydrodynamic resistance by 1.5-2 times. 1 dwg
