FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: this is intended for laying various underground service lines without digging trenches for this purpose. According to method, pipe is driven into ground by its open end forward. Ground core is thus formed inside pipe and core is then removed by breaking off and pressing out in parts as it is being formed. Breaking-off and pressing-out are executed with help of flowing medium which is supplied through injector. Ground core is formed directly in internal space of pipe being driven and it is pressed out through same pipe. Injector is introduced directly into ground core. Device accommodates injector which is connected to source of flowing medium held under pressure. Injector has passages for delivering aforesaid flowing medium into ground core. Injector is made in the form of tube connected to advance motion driving unit. Application of method and device allows for reduction of energy cost for driving in pipes and for increasing productivity. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 10 cl, 2 dwg
