FIELD: meat-processing industry. SUBSTANCE: device comprises a frame, transport mechanism with monorail, cutting mechanism with cutter tool, elements for fixing the carcass in the zone of the back and sacral bone, a mechanism for fixing rear extremities and a device mounted on revolving pillars for stretching the carcass along the spinal column. A balance arm built into the monorail is positioned opposite the cutter tool, symmetrically therewith, and has the form of an equal-arm lever secured on a rockshaft arranged in the plane of said cutter tool. The active surface of the lever has hollows arranged symmetrically with the rockshaft and retainers which are linked kinematically with the revolving pillars. The retainers close the holes and fix the equal-arm lever so that its active surface is positioned in the same plane with the working surface of the monorail; they release the lever and open the holes in the other position of said pillars. The device stretching the carcass along the spinal column is capable of moving vertically on the pillars and has fixing elements arranged symmetrically with the cutter tool for interaction with the internal surface of the thoracic cage of the carcass. EFFECT: improved siding of carcasses due to higher accuracy of their orientation relative to the cutter tool and the possibility of stretching the decapitated carcasses along the spinal column. 7 dwg
