METHOD AND PRODUCTION LINE FOR MAKING COARSE FODDER Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: agricultural engineering, fodder production. SUBSTANCE: method involves separate preliminary shredding of main and auxiliary fodder components, mixing them by adjusting the rate of their delivery, moving them for repeated shredding and biological treatment which includes aeration of fodder mixture through a perforated pipe in the bioreactor. The relation of the total volume of liquid reagents is maintained by adjusting the time of delivery of each reagent. The production line comprises a coarse fodder feeder, its shredder, a feeder of auxiliary fodder, a collecting conveyor, a receiving hopper, bioreactors, a liquid reagent and air supply unit, a drier, and a device for granulating, batching and packing the prepared fodder. The feeders and shredders are combined by a conveyor in the form of auger 3 joined to collecting conveyor 4 which latter is connected with the last fodder shredder 5 communicating with bioreactors 8 through loader 7. The latter has a pump and ejector unit and is, essentially, a pneumatic conveyor. The inlet of receiving hopper 10 is connected to outlet of final shredder 5 while the hopper outlet is installed above the ejector unit of loader 7. The air supply duct is divided into loading pipes connected, each, by flexible hoses with bioreactors 8. Drawout hatches of these bioreactors communicate through flexible hoses with used-air drawout ducts connected to the loader pump. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 1 dwg, 1 tbl
