FIELD: powder metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: method involves making sleeve from bronze chips with residual porosity of 20-25% and pore size of 0.3-0.5 mm; impregnating sleeve with liquid fluoroplastic under pressure of 1.5-2.0 t/cm2; drying and calibrating article at room temperature. Method allows wear-resistance to be increased by 2.1 times as compared with existing bearings made from chips and service life to be increased by 30-40% by reduced delamination and lifting of fluoroplastic film. EFFECT: increased wear-resistance and service life. 1 tbl
