FIELD: powder metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, in particular, to production of sheet anti-friction materials on a metal substrate, and can be used for manufacturing sliding supports operating both with lubrication and dry at high sliding speeds, high loads and temperatures, with a consistently low coefficient of friction in the course of wear of the working layer. The method for producing a metal tape with a bronze layer with a corrugated surface for impregnation with a fluoroplastic paste includes formation of a porous bronze layer from a spherical bronze powder on a continuously moving metal strip by baking said powder in a through furnace, cooling in a cooling chamber and winding into a bundle for transportation from the line for forming a porous bronze layer to the line for impregnation of the formed porous bronze layer with a fluoroplastic paste. In order to form said porous bronze layer, a spherical bronze powder with an average dispersion degree of 0.06 to 0.1 mm is freely poured in a uniform layer with a thickness of 0.25 to 0.35 mm. After the cooling, a pair or two pairs of driving rolls with a ribbed surface are installed on the line for forming a porous bronze layer after the cooling chamber, and the porous bronze layer is subjected to rolling by said driving rolls, forming alternating ribs and grooves on the bronze layer.
EFFECT: operational parameters of the metallofluoroplastic tape are expanded, wear resistance of the working layer on friction without lubricating agents with high sliding speeds is increased, consistently low coefficient of friction is obtained in the course of wear of the working layer due to the creation of a corrugated surface in the form of alternating ribs and grooves on the baked bronze layer.
