FIELD: casting production. SUBSTANCE: method of making castings includes steps of preparing a mold by filling a floatable self-hardening mixture into a technological fitting, to which a pattern had been placed beforehand; removing the pattern; calcining the mold, pouring the metal to the mold for crystallizing it; performing a step of calcining the mold at temperature, being no more, than 572 C; pouring the liquid metal under pressure by squeezing out way with crystallization under pressure; upon making patterns from a water soluble composition facing the patterns by wax-like composition, upon making castings of titanium and its alloys using as a floatable self-hardening material liquid aluminium and its alloys and using zinc and its alloys as material for making patterns. EFFECT: enlarged manufacturing possibilities of the method at making precision castings. 5 cl
