FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to foundry field. Method includes filling of molds by metal melt and its hardening in forms under action of gas pressure Pgas on casting metal. On casting metal simultaneously with action of gas pressure it is implemented mechanical force effect Pmech by means of compression by piston of metal melt in compression box. Mechanical effect is implemented on the assumption of Pmech ≤ Pgas.
EFFECT: it is achieved increasing of mechanical properties of received castings.
