FIELD: materials handling devices. SUBSTANCE: hoist has housing 7 accommodating planetary reduction gear with brake, drum 15 and traction wheel 2 installed on shaft 1 wrapped around by endless closed flexible member 3 with driving and return lines. Hoist has rocker 6 with rollers on its ends. Rocker is hinge-mounted on housing to provide running of flexible member lines over rollers. Flexible member has constant cross-section. Traction wheel 2 is installed on shaft 1 by meamns of disk-bushing and is coupled with shaft by means of splined joint. Shaft 1 is spring-loaded for travel along its axis and it has slots 24 and 23 on one end for fitting handle 24. Flexible member 3 can be made in form of flexible braided strap or V-belt.
