FIELD: inorganic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: from an ammonium molybdate or paramolybdate solution, calcium molybdate precipitates which is then separated from the solution. The solution is treated with calcium oxide or hydroxide at a pH of 8.5. The pulp is removed by filtration. The filtrate is heated and directed to treat the original ammonium molybdate or paramolybdate solution to precipitate calcium molybdate. EFFECT: more efficient preparation process.
