SUBSTANCE: the process for preparing triple polymers by emulsion-free polymerization in the presence of a water soluble initiator and a molecular weight regulator which comprises using as the third comonomer 2.0-4.5 wt of the main monomers of monoalkylmaleate the alkyl radical of the ester group of which monoalkylmaleate is a condensation product of 3-6 moles of ethylene oxide and an aliphatic C1-C3-alcohol, an initiator being added as an aqueous solution to the reaction system at 65-70 C.
