FIELD: hydraulic engineering. SUBSTANCE: during operation of water intake works, cleaning of netted sheets 2 is effected through pressure branch pipe 13 with the help of washing water fed to washing pipe 3. One part of washing water passes through additional nozzles 9 and rotates washing pipe 3 due to jet thrust. Main part of washing water passes through holes 7 of washing pipe 3 in hydraulic jets and space of hollow 5 of half-pipe 4 to which air is sucked from atmosphere through vertical pipe 8. Water-air jets through nozzles 6 of half-pipe 4 are supplied to surface of netted sheet 2 which covers opening of water intake 1 to wash off trash and young fish.
