FIELD: hydraulic building, particularly fish-protective devices included in water intakes.

SUBSTANCE: fish-protective device comprises filtering screen made as louver fins installed in water intake window so that the fins are at acute angle to water intake window plane. Device also has jet-forming means made as distribution manifold with nozzle system. Nozzle system includes nozzles of the first and the second groups extending in fin inclination direction. Distribution manifold is connected to pressure pipeline of pump. Nozzles of main and additional groups are arranged upstream of filtering screen from water body side. Nozzles of additional group are inclined to filtering screen at angles exceeding that of main group nozzles. Fish-protective device has hydrodynamic cavitational apparatus provided with air-sucking pipe having inlet connected to pressure pipeline of pump and outlet linked to supply pipeline of distribution manifold. Inner and outer louver fin edges extend in horizontal plane. Distribution manifold adjoins lower part of water intake window plane. Outer louver fin edges facing water body are out of water intake window plane. Outlet nozzle orifices face water body surface.

EFFECT: increased fish protective efficiency due to improved rubbish and young fish diverting with air-and-water jets.
