FIELD: engine engineering. SUBSTANCE: chemically active matters are introduced in the flow of exhaust gases upstream of the reactor. The matters are compose of metals of the transition group. The temperature of the flow at the site of the introduction shall exceed the dissociation temperature for the chemically active matters. Then the flow passes through the filtering member positioned upstream of the catalytic reactor. Carbonyls based on the metal of the transition group or fuel solutions of the carbonyls serve as chemically active matters. EFFECT: improved quality of purifying. 3 cl, 1 dwg, 1 tbl
