FIELD: environment control engineering; protection of surrounding atmosphere from solid particles and gaseous pollutants emitted during combustion of hydrocarbon fuels, including heavy fuels (solar oil, fuel oil, etc) in various power-generating facilities: internal-combustion engines (primarily diesel engines), thermal power stations, cogeneration stations, etc. SUBSTANCE: chemically active agents aiding in conversion of gaseous pollutants and in combustion of finely dispersed solid particles are continuously introduced in waste gas flow before it is passed through filter element. Chemically active agent is admitted at waste gas temperature higher than dissociation point of chemically active agents. EFFECT: improved efficiency of waste gas cleaning, higher economic efficiency of recovery process, enlarged service life of filter element. 8 cl, 3 dwg
