FIELD: machine engineering. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of welding overlapping joints by angular seams at sides of the same materials in such a way, that a ratio of legs of an overlapping seam, being adjacent with a surface of a bimetal, is equal to (2-5), and legs of an angular seam, being adjacent with an end edge of the bimetal, is equal to (0.2-0.9) of a thickness of an aluminium layer of the bimetal. When a thickness of a part, being welded, is large, a leg of the overlapping seam, adjacent with the bimetal, consists (2-5) thickness values of the aluminium layer of the bimetal, and a height of the seam is no more, than 1 thickness value of that layer. The seams are being formed in next order: at first aluminium seams are being welded and then steel seams are being welded in such a way, that initially an overlapping seam is being welded and then an angular seam. An end edge of the part, being welded, has a slope with an inclination angle, equal to (5-65)degrees, its longitudinal edge being a broken or curvilinear-profile edge, for example it has a sine profile with a period, equal to a width, and with an amplitude, equal to (0.1-0.9) of the width of the bimetal.
