FIELD: manufacture of reservoirs with pipe lines supplying and discharging aggressive media; chemical and petrochemical engineering and other industries. SUBSTANCE: connection of pipe line and casing of reservoir is effected by means of welded-in piece reinforcing the hole in casing. Welded-in piece is connected with pipe line by means of bimetallic elements which consists of two layers of metals: one metal is easily weldable with metal of welded-in piece and other with metal of pipe line. They may be formed by application of corrosion-resistant materials on ends of welded-in piece; it may consist of bimetallic cylindrical inserts for pipe lines up to 100 mm in diameter.
