FIELD: waste processing technologies. SUBSTANCE: before grading tires, they are flushed by water pressurized to 10-20 MPa and then dried at 80-100 C. Flushing of the tires with water is performed from the exterior side of tread. After roughing the tire tread, the tires with inconsiderable defects are additionally graded and flushed from the exterior sides of their side walls and on their interior surfaces. Then, these tires are dried, the dried surfaces are lightly roughened, layers of sealing compound are applied to the exterior and interior sides of the tires and the subsequent operations, such as for instance assembling of tubes, are performed. The tires withy serious defects are roughened on the tread and are then cut into two side walls and tread strips, which are subjected to subsequent reprocessing operations. The tread strip is cut into cuts one part of which is used for manufacturing gaskets, washers and rings and all other cuts are cleaned with water, dried, roughened from inside, coated on both sides with sealing compound and are used for fabricating plates. The side walls are dried, roughened from outside, coated on outside and inside with sealing compound and subjected to further V-operations, such for instance as assembling of small load-carrying-capacity tubes.
