FIELD: electronic devices. SUBSTANCE: on face surfaces, electroluminescent light source electrodes are generated from alternating fibers of current-conducting material either with or without insulation. Fibers are arranged along axis of light source in order to provide relief surface. Fibers are drawn through soft plastic mix of luminophore with dielectric binding. Remainder of mix is removed from surface of fibers and is pressed in space between fibers. Layer of luminophore is divided into separate areas. Then, dielectric binding is polymerized by means of thermal processing and shield coating is applied. Thermal processing may be performed after application of shield coating before cutting into parts as well as after cutting simultaneously with sealing of face surfaces. Device for implementation of this method has device for application of mix of luminophore with dielectric binding, device for application of shield coating, device for thermal processing. In addition device has conveyer, devices for generation of electrodes from fibers, for pressing luminophore and for removal of luminophore remainder. Said devices are located after device for application of luminophore mix. Conveyer ribbon is designed as electrode fibers, which are arranged along axis of electroluminescent light source. Thermal processing device for polymerization of organic dielectric binding is located after device for removal of remainder of luminophore. Device for application of shield coating is located either between said devices or behind thermal processing device. EFFECT: increased functional capabilities. 5 cl, 1 dwg, 1 tbl
