FIELD: warning and indicating devices, advertising boards, decorative panels, lighting fixtures. SUBSTANCE: proposed source of light has two threadlike or wire electrodes on which filled polymer layers of graphite and current-conducting carbon black in binder, of dielectric having high dielectric permittivity in binder above which common transparent current conducting layer of conducting filler in binder is deposited are formed in sequence. Dispersed barium titanate of zinc oxide doped with gallium or indium oxide doped with lead or antimony are used in the capacity of dielectric with high dielectric permittivity. Portion of doping material amounts to 0.3-1.3 mas. %. Butadiene-nitrile rubber is employed as binder. Source of light has jacket made from flexible optically transparent dielectric material. EFFECT: usage of proposed electric luminescent source of light makes it feasible to increase brightness and improved homogeneity of glow. 1 cl, 2 dwg
