At least one shape-forming member is detached from the substrate fruiting surface in the mycelium growth period for instance in a range of 0.5 day to completion of the mycelium. The fruiting surface has protuberances and depressions. The block or system of blocks may be reinforced, and the system of blocks may add more area to the fruiting surface. Groups of blocks may be arranged parallel with the inner room surface or they may be adapted to its shape.
