FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: sprinkler has body 1 and pivoting main tube 2. Additional tube 4 is in communication with the main tube. The additional tube is mounted to pivot on tube 2, and the additional and main tubes communicate by means of pipe 6 and cock 13. Holes 16 and 18 in body 14 of cock 13 are intended to open tube 4 to either pipe 6 or the inner space of tube 2. Tube 2 starts pivoting as jet power develops, thereby creating a centrifugal force. Water escapes from tube 4, and the reactive power decreases. Tube 2 halts, and the range is maximum. Reactive force develops again, and the cycle is repeated. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 4 dwg
