FIELD: petroleum chemistry. SUBSTANCE: mixture of hydrogen and hydrocarbon stock is passed through layer of platinum-rhenium catalyst at 450-500 C and pressure of 1.5-3.0 MPa. Platinum-rhenium catalyst is arranged in form of body of revolution with cylindrical external surface. Mixture is passed in direction from cylinder axis towards its periphery. Process is conducted in reactor having body with holes to receive stock and to discharge catalyst, hollow sleeve with perforated inner and outer walls and coaxially installed in body in a spaced relation between its outer wall and body inner surface. Plugs are installed on both ends of sleeve. One plug is of ring shape, and installed between body inner surface and sleeve inner wall, and the other plug is of circle shape and installed for complete closing of sleeve end. Plug in form of ring is installed on the side of stock inlet, and plug in form of circle is installed on the side of opening for catalyst discharge. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 12 cl, 5 dwg, 6 tbl
