FIELD: automotive industry. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes cutting out blank from metal sheet and subsequent machining of blank on die. According to proposed method of blank cutting, segments are cut out in places of conjugation of three surfaces with tops of segments located in places of conjugation of above indicated surfaces and edges limiting the segments are made to coincide during subsequent machining of blank. Then blank is secured on die, places of conjugation of three surfaces are upset, edges limiting the segments are welded together, and other portions of blank surfaces are upset.
